Foods to Avoid Before Making Love

There are foods that can spice up your experience in bed and acts as a libido booster for men but there are also foods that can destroy your special night. When there are so many foods to make you feel bloated and unsexy, it’s shit luck that most dates begin with eating and end with sex — especially when you eat shortly before lying down.


Bagels are about the densest you can get when it comes to bread. So many people have trouble digesting wheat as it is, regardless of allergies to gluten. Smother it with an inch-high filling of heavy cream cheese, and as your body tries to absorb the heavy serving of fat and protein, you can rely on even feeling full forever— two nutrients that take longer to process than straight carbohydrates.

Breakfast Meats

Simply put, bacon and sausage are fat. Greasy breakfast meats cause the greatest heartburn and GI discomfort, like bacon, which can be particularly problematic.


Depending on how much you usually drink, how caffeine is absorbed by your body, and the strength of the coffee you’re drinking, strong coffee drinks will intensify the nervousness that causes stomach problems such as diarrhea— the last thing you need to get near to your partner.


An 8-ounce piece of meat could cause gas that is especially foul-smelling. Due to the chemicals it creates in the intestine, gas associated with red meat is more odorous. That’s because when you overeat protein for fermentation, it goes straight to the colon where it produces some seriously offensive byproducts.

While it is cabbage that gives coleslaw that satisfies snap, when it enters the gut, the product is bad news, where fermentation triggers huge gas. The mayo-based dressing just worsens matters, causing you to feel bloated for longer.

French Fries

Potatoes are pretty easy to digest — it’s the oil in which they’re cooked that can cause trouble for you. That’s because fat takes its time to clear your stomach, which makes you feel full and bloated after eating for a while.


The corn used to make tortilla chips is relatively harmless in the sense of digestion and the related issues. The issue? They are fully loaded with: beans that contain indigestible sugars called galactans, which clarify their reputation as a major gas producer; fatty meat that can induce indigestion; sour cream and cheese that bloats anyone susceptible to lactose; and guac and salsa, made from onions and garlic, two ingredients that cause gas sneakily. 


Between the wheat wrap, bean filling, cheese, fajita onions, and the sheer amount of food crammed in the typical burrito, burritos are perfect for two things: their general deliciousness, and their ability to get you out of date — quick.


It is expected to be filled with added sugars, which are extremely difficult to digest, whether it is made with margarita mix or lime juice. So the same applies to any other mixed or super-sweet drink which consists mostly of fruit juice.
